About Us - J.E. Prass

As Principal, I want to express how important your child and his or her successes are to the Prass staff.  

The mission of Kettering Schools, in partnership with the family and community, is to guarantee a superior educational learning experience for all students by providing a positive and innovative learning environment, while responsibly utilizing resources.

At Prass Elementary School, we nurture the growth and development of the whole child in a supportive and positive atmosphere so that one day all students may accomplish their dreams. We value communication between the school and community.

Through collaboration we will provide an engaging environment that promotes academic and social emotional excellence for all students. Together we will encourage our students to use critical thinking skills, be thoughtful communicators, engaged collaborators, global citizens and foster a love for lifelong learning. May we seek to inspire all families, students, staff and community.

2024 Ohio Sales Tax Holiday

The 2024 sales tax holiday will take place from 12 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, until 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8. Also, more purchases are eligible. Visit the Ohio Department of Taxation webpage for more details. www.tax.ohio.gov
